Fiddlestix Ranch is a working equestrian facility. Riders must be under adult supervision by certified riding instructors and follow their directions at all times, in order to enjoy grooming and riding ranch horses, riders need to understand that all activities on the grounds of an equine facility are subject to the Equine Inherent Risk law ORS 30.687-30.697 . This includes that an equine activity sponsor or professional shall not be liable for any injury to, or the death of a participant in equine activities at the facility. Horses are large unpredictable animals and can be startled by stimulus out of the control of the riding instructor. Such as; acts of nature E.g. wind, rain, thunder, trees falling, other animals, or loud noises E.g. gunshots, vehicles, machinery, chainsaws etc. Horses also bite, kick and nudge as part of their nature. By signing and submitting this form, you acknowledge the risks of equine activities and waive the owner, Sarah Kimmel and all instructors, of any liability of injury resulting from any equine activity on the property or on trail rides or at events. Helmets are provided and mandatory for all riders.
